Friendly service, offered samples, great tasting ice cream! We opted for a flight so we could try several flavors. My favorite was the butter brickle, my husband’s was the mint chip! Very creamy and tastes fresh!

“Pelican Poo” is one of the most unexpected yet delicious ice cream flavors I’ve ever had. I’ve came back to Fannie Lou’s many times while I was in Pensacola, and it never disappoints. I just had it yesterday, and it had me discussing how such an absurd flavor is probably the best ice cream flavor I’ve ever had (over Rita’s, Cold Stone Creamery, Dairy Queen, and other local staples). Besides “Pelican Poo,” there are some elite, distinct choices, with most flavors notably having various unique toppings. Among my family, our other recommendations are “Mia’s Mint Chip”, “Butter Brickle”, and “Bushwhacker.” I recommend this place to everyone and their friends and family.

We found Fannie Lou’s Ice Cream after seeing all the amazing reviews on Google—and it absolutely lived up to the hype! After days of eating out around Pensacola Beach, we were ready to venture out and try something different, and this spot was exactly what we needed. The ice cream was truly delicious, and you could immediately tell that everything was homemade with care and quality ingredients. I was especially impressed with the dairy-free option, which was just as rich and flavorful as the traditional flavors—something that’s hard to find! The atmosphere was charming, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. You can feel the love they put into every scoop. Next time we’re in town, this will be our first stop—no question. If you’re in the Pensacola area and craving real, handcrafted ice cream, Fannie Lou’s is the place to go!

Second visit to Pensacola Beach and first time exploring downtown Pensacola area. Trying to find local places and this place was our perfect match. Staff gave us a warm welcome and explained about their ice cream. We decided to have Red, White and Boom!, Peaches N' Cream, Pelican Poo and Toasted Coconut Caramel Pecan Pie. All flavors were rich and delicious. We love Southern sweets and we had another scoop of Banana Puddin' too. Wish we lived in the neighborhood but we will try coming back.

My family and I visited Fannie Lou Ice Creamery on April 8,2025 at 3pm after a long day having fun in the sun and going to museums in Pensacola. The business wasn’t busy at the time we came in but it’s also a Tuesday. We were greeted immediately by the owner and a very nice employee and were given a lot of options to choose from. They offered free samples, the bushwhacker, the pelican poo, and banana pudding was my favorites. Be aware must be 21 to have the bushwhacker. The prices were not heavy on the wallet and were extremely reasonable. While speaking with the owner, he told us all the ice cream is made by him on scene at the business and he was busy working away on creating his Easter special ice cream which my son loved. Needless to say we will definitely be back and highly recommend tourist and locals alike take a ride down tasty treat alley at Fannie Lou Ice Cream to cool down from that Florida sun. Thank you
